Kolkata, Sept. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated a three-day Combined Commanders' Conference at the Indian Army's Eastern Command headquarters at the Vijay Durg, formerly Fort William in the city.
It was the first such conference after Operation Sindoor.
The 16th armed forces' conference, first of its kind after the "Operation Sindoor" was launched in the first week of May last against Pakistan backed terror outfits shelters on the other side of the border from Kashmir region.
