Silvassa, March 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated and laid the foundation of various development works worth over Rs 2580 crore in Silvassa.
Located in Western India, Silvassa is the headquarters of the Dadra and Nagar Haveli district in the Union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the 450-bedded NAMO Hospital (Phase I), built at the cost of over Rs 460 crore, which will significantly strengthen healthcare services in the Union Territory.
As per an official statement, the hospital will provide state-of-the-art medical care to the people in the region, especially the tribal communities.
