Amman/New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today held talks with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. The two sides agreed to further deepen the bilateral partnership in the fields of trade and investment, defence and security, counter-terrorism and de-radicalisation and fertilizer and agriculture among other things.

The MEA spokesperson said in a post on X that PM Modi, who arrived in Amman earlier in the day to a ceremonial reception, was received warmly by the King at Al Husseiniya Palace, and the two sides held talks on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
