Washington/New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi held bilateral talks with "dear friend" US President Donald Trump in the White House today, during which they discussed a wide range of subjects including defence and security, trade, energy and people-to-people ties as well as international developments.
PM Modi in a post on X said he had held an excellent meeting with President Trump, and the talks would add significant momentum to the bilateral friendship.
"An excellent meeting with @POTUS @realDonaldTrump at the White House. Our talks will add significant momentum to the India-USA friendship!"
