Farrukhabad (UP), Sept. 30 -- union Minister of State for Food and Public Distribution and Social Justice and Empowerment, BL Verma today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has increased the number of disability categories from seven to 21 and has ushered in a new thinking in society by coining the term 'Divyang' (specially-abled).
Addressing a ceremony to distribute free assistive devices to the disabled here, the union Minister said that PM Modi has increased the number of disability categories to 21 in the country and has ushered in a new thinking in society by using the term 'Divyang'.
