Johannesburg/New Delhi, Nov. 22 -- In a strategic move, amid the absence of the United States, India teamed up with Canada and Australia today to announce the formation of a new trilateral technology and innovation partnership, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the announcement, posting pictures with the Prime Ministers of Canada Mike Carney and Anthony Albanese of Australia.
The three leaders agreed that their respective officials would convene in the first quarter of 2026 to take the initiative forward.
