Chandigarh, Sept. 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed from Delhi this morning to assess the flood-affected regions of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
Announcing his visit on X, the Prime Minister will begin his tour with an aerial survey of the devastated areas in Himachal Pradesh's Kullu, Mandi, and Chamba districts, starting from Pathankot at approximately 11:30am.
At noon, PM Modi will attend a critical meeting in Dharamshala, where officials will present a detailed report on the damages caused by the floods.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will also be present. Later, at around 4:00pm, the Prime Minister will meet flood-affected residents in Punjab's Gurdaspur district to address their concerns.
