New Delhi, Nov. 1 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, which claimed the lives of at least ten devotees, mostly women and children, and injured several others.
The incident occurred earlier today amid a large gathering on Ekadashi, a sacred day for Hindus.
