Bengaluru, Sept. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed profound grief over the loss of lives in a tragic accident in Karnataka's Hassan district and announced financial assistance for the victims.
In a post shared by the Prime Minister's Office on X, Modi described the accident as "heart-rending" and said his thoughts were with the families who lost their loved ones. He also wished those injured a speedy recovery.
"The accident in Hassan, Karnataka is heart-rending. In this tragic hour, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I hope those who have been injured recover at the earliest," the Prime Minister said in his message.
