Jeddah/New Delhi, April 22 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jeddah on a two-day visit today, and was warmly welcomed by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Governor of Makkah.
The Prime Minister said in a post on X:
"Landed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This visit will strengthen the friendship between India and Saudi Arabia. Eager to take part in the various programmes today and tomorrow."
The MEA spokesperson said in a post that PM Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome with a 21-gun salute at the King Abdulaziz International Airport.
