Chennai, April 3 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Friday afternoon to undertake electioneering in the neighbouring union Territory of Puducherry which goes to Assembly polls on April nine.
After a brief reception at the airport, Mr Modi boarded a helicopter and left for Puducherry where he would hold a road show in support of NDA candidates of ruling AINRC headed by Chief Minister N Rangasamy, BJP, AIADMK and LJK.
Soon after touching down at Puducherry airport, Mr Modi will drive down to Ajantha Signal from where he would commence his hour long road show to Anna square in the union Territory.
After campaigning, he would return to Chennai by the helicopter for an overnight stay.
