Imphal, Sept. 13 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone of 19 projects worth over Rs 7,300 crore at Churachandpur and assured the people of Manipur that he ''is with them (people of Manipur).''The projects include Manipur Urban Roads, drainage and asset management improvement project worth over Rs 3,600 crore, 5 National Highway projects worth more than Rs 2,500 crore, Manipur Infotech Development (MIND) project, Working Women Hostels at 9 locations, among others.
Addressing a public meeting he said the land of Manipur is a land of bravery, hills a gift of nature. He appealed to the people to work for peace and assured them that he is with the people of Manipur.
