New Delhi, Oct. 6 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated the Indian para-athlete contingent for delivering historic performance at the World Para-Athletics Championships 2025, held for the first time here.

The Indian team recorded its best-ever medal tally at the event, winning a total of 22 medals, including six golds, marking a significant milestone in the country's para-sports journey.
