Chennai, July 26 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Tuticorin airport
from Maldives this evening on a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu.
He was received at the airport by Governor R N Ravi, Ministers, including Finance,
Environment and Cimate Change Minister Thangam Thennarasu, Union Minister
and BJP leader L Murugan, District Collectors, senior government and district
officials, besides BJP Leaders.
Upon his arrival, Mr Modi will inaugurated the new terminal building at the airport,
launch various schemes, lay foundation stones giving a fillip to road, rail and port
infra.
After reaching Trichy tonight for overnight stay,tomorrow he is sexpected to hold
road shows and attend the Adi Thiruvaadhirai festival to mark king Rajendra Chola...
