Hazaribagh, Sept. 21 -- Coal mining companies operating in the Keredari block have received open threats from the People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI), demanding a complete halt to mining operations till September 30.

Posters put up by the extremist group named companies including NTPC, CCL, L&T, BGR, and Chandragupt, warning that any work carried out without negotiation would be the sole responsibility of the company administration.

Owners and drivers involved in coal transportation have also been threatened. The PLFI warned that forced dispatch of vehicles would invite direct action, holding vehicle owners accountable.
