Shimla, Feb. 14 -- Himachal Pradesh continues to experience mainly dry and pleasant weather, with the recent rise in mercury bringing comfortable daytime conditions across most districts.

According to the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, the state recorded dry weather during the past 24 hours, with no rainfall or snowfall.

There was no large change in minimum temperatures, and night readings at many stations remained normal or near normal, while a few places recorded temperatures above normal by two to five degrees. However, maximum temperatures (Friday) were markedly above normal by three to seven degrees in most parts of the state.
