Hyderabad, July 24 -- A delegation of Telangana PCC leaders, Charan Kaushik Yadav and Lokesh Yadav, submitted a petition to the Farmers Commission today, urging the inclusion of buffaloes and cows under the Telangana State Sheep and Goat Development Cooperative Federation.
The leaders met Farmers Commission Chairman Kodanda Reddy, along with members Bhavani Reddy and Bhumi Sunil, at BRK Bhavan and called for expanding the federation's scope.
They demanded that the federation, currently operational in only nine districts, be extended to all 33 districts of the state. They also suggested amending the corporation's structure to allow for the appointment of chairpersons not just at the village and district levels, but also at the mandal level...
