Plans underway to establish Territorial Army 'Mizo Company' base in Lunglei

Lunglei, June 27 -- Steps are being taken to set up the proposed Territorial Army (TA) 'Mizo Company' in Lunglei in southern Mizoram, with discussions underway to finalise the site and other logistical requirements, officials said.

A coordination meeting chaired by Lunglei Deputy Commissioner Navneet Mann was held today at her office to deliberate on arrangements for the upcoming TA unit, which is being raised in response to a request from the Mizoram government.
