New Delhi, Nov. 25 -- Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal concluded his visit to Israel with a series of high-level engagements aimed at strengthening India-Israel strategic and economic partnership.
During the visit, Goyal held discussions with Israel's Minister of Economy and Industry, Nir Barkat, on India Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Signing of the Terms of Reference for the FTA was a key highlight of the visit marking an important step toward structured negotiations for a balanced and mutually beneficial outcome.
The discussions with Israel's Minister of Finance, Bezalel Smotrich, covered opportunities for Indian companies in the fields of infrastructure, mining and Indian workers in Israel.
