New Delhi, March 22 -- Under attack over the controversial remarks on the Balakot attack, Sam Pitroda, the close aide of party president Rahul Gandhi, on Friday met Mr Gandhi and is understood to have issued a clarification on his statement.
Sources said, Mr Patroda met the Congress president at his residence soon after the controversy erupted over his remarks regarding the Balakot air strikes on terror camps in Pakistan.
Soon after the meeting, Mr Patroda told TV channels that his words have been twisted and quoted out of context.
