New Delhi, Nov. 26 -- The All India Football Federation's stated plans of inducting People of Indian origin (PIO) and naturalising foreign players into the national side can only bring short-term success, says a former AIFF official.
Joydeep Basu, AIFF's former Director of Communication and Media said the federation governing body's stated plan is not a sustainable solution to improving India's performance in the game as the country needs to develop its own players to have sustained success.
