Lucknow, Oct. 5 -- Public awareness about breast cancer was spread in Lucknow today under the Pink Wave Campaign. The event was organised by the Association of 41 Clubs of India Area 9 in collaboration with the SGPGI Breast Health Program.
The campaign aimed to raise awareness among women about early breast cancer symptoms and timely treatment.
The event began with a walkathon at 7 a.m. from the Lucknow Golf Club. Principal Secretary (Industries) Alok Kumar and Principal Secretary (Planning) Alok Kumar III flagged off the walkathon. Over 300 participants took part in the 3-kilometer-long walkathon.
Following the walkathon, a vintage car rally was organized at 8 a.m. The rally passed through Lohia Path and ended at the Golf Driving Range....
