Jammu, Sept. 9 -- A Division Bench of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh at Jammu today issued notices to the union Territory government in a Public Interest Litigation filed by three former national Badminton players seeking implementation of the National Development Sports Code of India, 2011 in J&K.
The bench comprising the Chief Justice Arun Palli and Justice Rajnesh Oswal issued the notices to the Chief Secretary, J&K; the Commissioner Secretary to Government of J&K, Youth Services and Sports Department; Secretary, J&K Sports Council, the Badminton Association of India and the J&K Badminton Association through its General Secretary.
