New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- A public interest litigation (PIL) has been filed in the Supreme Court following the tragic stampede at the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, seeking immediate directives to enhance safety measures for pilgrims from across the country. The stampede, which occurred on the morning of January 29 in the Sangam area, resulted in the death of at least 30 people and injuries to over 60.
