Colombo, Nov. 24 -- In a historic triumph, India lifted their first-ever Blind Women's T20 World Cup, defeating Nepal by seven wickets in a commanding final at the P Sara Oval in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Phula Saren emerged as the star of the match, blasting a blistering 44 off just 27 balls to steer India to a comfortable victory. India had earlier restricted Nepal to 114/5 and chased down the target in just 12.1 overs, losing only three wickets, to claim the prestigious trophy.
