Lucknow, March 25 -- Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav has appointed Rukmini Nishad, sister of former Lok Sabha MP late Phoolan Devi, as the state president of the Samajwadi Mahila Sabha, Uttar Pradesh.
This appointment is being seen as a strengthening of women''s leadership in the party besides focussing on its PDA formula.
