Hyderabad, July 17 -- The sensational phone tapping case from the previous BRS regime has reached a crucial stage, with the Special Investigation Team (SIT) set to question Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on July 24.

The SIT, which is probing the widespread surveillance allegations, has already summoned several politicians, MPs, MLAs, celebrities, and others, recording their statements.

Bandi Sanjay, who first brought the phone tapping issue to light during his tenure as BJP state president, has now been formally served a notice by the SIT.
