Manila, Dec. 16 -- The Philippines' Bureau of Immigration (BI) on Tuesday confirmed that the two gunmen involved in one of Australia's deadliest mass shootings had travelled to the Philippines last month.
According to BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval, Naveed Akram and his father, 50-year-old Sajid Akram, arrived from Sydney on November 1 and declared Davao City in the southern Philippines as their destination. Both men departed the country on November 28, travelling from Davao to Manila before flying back to Sydney.
