New Delhi, Feb. 8 -- Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on Thursday unveiled that it is going to initiate the indigenous production of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Grade diesel.

Recognizing the burgeoning demand for high-quality diesel engines in the expansive US export market, BPCL's Kochi Refinery has taken a proactive stance by developing this critical fuel domestically, an official statement said.

Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has launched the BPCL's EPA-Grade Diesel initiative at India Energy Week in Goa today in the presence of G Krishnakumar, C&MD, BPCL and other senior officials from MOP&NG and BPCL.
