Mumbai, May 28 -- Petrol and diesel prices in Maharashtra have once again become a topic of discussion as new rates were announced on May 28, 2025.
Fuel prices, which are closely monitored by the public due to their direct impact on daily expenses, were declared at 6 AM and are now in effect across the state.
According to the latest data, petrol prices in most cities of Maharashtra remain above 104 per litre, while diesel prices are generally above 91 per litre. For example, petrol in Ahmednagar is 104.89 per litre and diesel is 91.40 per litre.
In Aurangabad, petrol is 105.18 and diesel is 91.68 per litre. Mumbai City continues to offer the lowest rates, with petrol at 103.50 and diesel at 90.03 per litre.
