Mumbai, May 27 -- Fuel prices in Maharashtra held steady on Tuesday, with both petrol and diesel rates showing little movement amid ongoing fluctuations in global crude oil markets.
The latest prices, announced at 6 AM, continue to be closely monitored by consumers as fuel costs remain a key indicator of inflation in the state.
According to official data, petrol prices remain above 104 per litre in most cities. Ahmednagar recorded petrol at 104.89 per litre, Aurangabad at 105.18, and several cities-including Hingoli, Jalna, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, and Yavatmal-at 105.50 per litre. Mumbai City continues to offer a comparatively lower rate at 103.50 per litre.
