New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- The Delhi government has taken measures for the smooth conduct of Ramleela performances in the national capital during the upcoming Navratri festival, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said today, while announcing a single-window system for giving permission to such events.
Keeping in view all the issues faced by the Ramleela organisers, a Special Committee has been formed, Gupta said.
The decision was made at a meeting held at Raj Niwas under the chairmanship of Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.
Along with CM Gupta, office bearers of the Delhi Ramleela Federation, and senior officials from relevant departments, also attended the meeting.
