Patna, Feb. 23 -- Bihar Finance Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav on Monday said that per capita income would be doubled in next five years in the state.
Yadav while replying to debate on Bihar Appropriation Bill 2026 in Assembly said that under seven resolves of the state government for the period 2025-30, it has been decided to double the per capita income.
During the same period, target had been fixed to provide one crore jobs and employment to people of the state, he added.
During the period from the year 2020 to 2025, Nitish led NDA government had provided 50 lakhs jobs and employments to people of the state, he further added.
