Shimla , April 15 -- The remote and scenic Killar region of Pangi Valley witnessed the first-ever state-level Himachal Day celebration with Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announcing bonanza of various development schemes aimed at transforming this tribal region. Speaking at the 78th Himachal Day function on Monday, CM Sukhu declared Pangi as the state's first Natural Farming Sub-division, introducing a Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs. 60 per kg for naturally grown barley. The valley already benefits from MSPs for naturally grown wheat and maize, strengthening the rural economy through sustainable agriculture.
