Chandigarh, June 23 -- Punjab BJP Chief Sunil Jakhar on Monday said that Ludhiana bypoll
result was an indication that people were looking for a solid alternative to Aam Aadmi Party.
Jakhar, while reacting to Ludhiana West bypolls result, wherein ruling AAP retained the seat, wrote
on X that the votes received by the BJP indicated that the people of Punjab were now looking for a
solid alternative to the AAP and Congress for the state.
Thanking the party's voters, he said that they accept the people's verdict adding that these elections were a signal that it is high time for BJP to start its work with full preparation and planning for 2027 assembly elections.
