Shimla, Oct. 7 -- Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said here today that the State Government is striving to establish a robust healthcare system through infrastructure development.
The State Government has taken several initiatives in this direction. These include the PGI Satellite Centre in Una and the IGMC Shimla with advanced equipment, the Him Care Scheme for financial coverage, and the Urban Health and Wellness Centres to increase access.
The State Government is also focusing on improving primary healthcare, strengthening the workforce, addressing the challenges of remote areas, and adopting digital health systems to ensure equitable access for its citizens.
