Srinagar, Feb. 27 -- Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Thursday said that the people have to play a constructive role to control the drug menace in the society.
The Deputy Chief Minister was talking to media persons in central Kashmir Budgam district.
"I appeal to people in general to play a constructive role to control the drug menace which has found space in our homes and in the society", Choudhary told media persons.
"We don't know where from it is coming, but there is dire need to catch the drug traffickers", he said and added "we hope that Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will play a role and instruct police, who is under his belt, to put a break on the drug trafficking in Jammu and Kashmir".
