Nagpur, Dec. 22 -- : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said the results of the recent local body elections clearly demonstrate that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged as the largest political force in the state, with people placing full faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development-oriented vision.
Addressing a press conference at Ramgiri, the Chief Minister's official residence, Fadnavis congratulated the newly elected councillors and presidents of municipal councils. He said the BJP had dismantled the opposition's stronghold in Nagpur district.
