Hyderabad, Dec. 22 -- Telangana Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday said the Congress government was committed to people-centric governance and would be accountable only to the people, who are the ultimate judges in a democracy.
Talking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan along with Excise Minister Jupalli Krishana Rao, he said the government had repeatedly appealed to the opposition to attend the Assembly and offer suggestions if there were any shortcomings.
"The Chief Minister has assured that the dignity of the opposition will be protected in the Assembly. If there are issues, they should be discussed on the floor of the House," he said.
