Moscow, Aug. 1 -- The Pentagon has committed $51.6 million for technical assistance for Patriot air defense systems sent to Ukraine since as early as February 2023, with such services extended to at least 2026, a Sputnik correspondent's analysis of public US government contracts revealed.

The United States has so far provided three Patriot air defense batteries to Ukraine. All three deliveries were announced by former US President Joe Biden.
