Srinagar, Nov. 8 -- Chief Minister and National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Saturday accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of initiating the destruction of Jammu and Kashmir even before the revocation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019.

Addressing a public meeting in Mirgund, Budgam, as part of the ongoing election campaign for party candidate Agha Syed Mahmood, Omar said the PDP-led government had implemented policies such as the Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the SARFAESI Act, which eroded the region's autonomy well before the constitutional changes of 2019.
