Srinagar, Feb. 17 -- Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised serious concerns over the prevailing atmosphere of fear, questioning the J&K government's ability to ensure basic dignity and security for its people.

In the latest edition of its "Speak Up" newsletter, the party emphasized that before any talk of development, Kashmiris must first be guaranteed the fundamental right to live without fear.

Citing the two recent incidents of Kathua and Baramulla, the PDP said Chief Minister Omar Abdullah responded with the usual tweets condemning the incidents.
