New Delhi, April 3 -- The Press Club of India (PCI) on Friday said that it is dismayed by the pleading of the Union government, which practically appears to suggest that only the official version of the situation arising out of the massive COVID-19 crisis be reflected in the media. The PCI said that it rejects such an approach and further expressed criticism of it. In an official statement, the press body said the Supreme Court evidently was also not persuaded by the official approach and had asked the government to make it's version available to the media on a routine basis.
