Puducherry, Aug. 17 -- Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) has called upon party functionaries and cadres to celebrate the 75th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi in a fitting manner by providing welfare measures.
A resolution to this effect was adopted at the extended PCC Executive meeting held here on Friday night according to a PCC release on Saturday.
Resolutions thanking the AICC for electing Ms Sonia Gandhi as the Party interim President, lauding Party MP Rahul Gandhi for his service as the AICC President and inviting AICC General Secretary Mukul Wasnik and Secretary Sanjay Dutt to Puducherry to celebrate the birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, were adopted in the meeting.
