Lahore, Dec. 21 -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again extended the deadline for submitting bids for the two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises, Geo Super reported.
The original deadline of December 22 has now been pushed to December 24, following two bank holidays during the period and requests from interested parties for additional time. The auction for the new teams is scheduled for January 8, which has also been delayed by a day due to this extension. The initial bid deadline had been set for December 15.
The first extension was announced in response to "growing interest" from investors in Europe, the United States, the Middle East, and beyond.
