Chennai, Feb. 7 -- For the Modi government giving zero for Tamil Nadu in the union budget, Tamil Nadu should pay back in their own coin in the coming assembly elections, Chief Minister and DMK president MK Stalin said on Saturday.

"Despite Tamil Nadu being the numero uno in all development indices, there is virtually nothing for the state in the budget", he said and appealed to the people to give zero to them.

It was expected that they would do some 'election stunt', but that too had been proved futile. "What we got was a wet towel," he said addressing the southern regional conference of the DMK youth wing functionaries at the southern Virudhunagar district on Saturday evening.
