Nashik, Sept. 14 -- Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar today sought to distance himslef from Maratha quota protagonist Manoj Jarange, saying his party has nothing to do with the agitation. "There is no need to comment on it," said Pawar.
The NCP chief was speaking to media following a one-day party camp organised at the Swaminarayan Banquet Hall in the city's Adgaon area, drawing participation from senior party leaders and office-bearers from the state ahead of the upcoming local body elections.
Pawar, who presided over the event, touched upon key issues, including Maratha reservation, farmers' concerns, and recent political developments.
