Patna, Jan. 28 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar described the death of NCP leaderAjit Pawar, who died in a plane crash Wednesday morning, as a great loss for Maharashtra and national politics.

Kumar, in his message, said he was deeply shocked to learn of the death of Pawar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, in a plane crash in Baramati district of the state.

"Pawar was an able administrator and great leader who had immensely contributed to Maharashtra in all sectors during his long political career," he added.
