Sangli, Sept. 21 -- Maharashtra Technology and Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar today criticised the Pawar and Thackeray families, calling them "urban Naxalites" and a "real threat" to the state.
Speaking at a function where he was felicitated in Shirala of this district, Shelar said the two families have no "deep love for the soil, festivals, traditions, and state culture."He accused them of only being interested in politics and never celebrating Hindu festivals such as 'Vatpurnima', 'Haritalika', and 'Mahashivratri'.
