Chennai, Dec. 29 -- The Patrician Brothers marked 150 years in India, buildingtrust through education and service to the society with a thanksgiving Eucharisticcelebration and cultural programmes.

The congregation of the Brothers of St. Patrick from Ireland, also known as PatricianBrothers, began their mission in 1808.

In 1875, three Irish brothers arrived in India to establish their mission to educate theyouth.

This year marked 150 years of their service in Chennai, where they established theirfirst institution, according to a press release.
